Nárreskoven Als
Distance: 11.44 Km
Nørreskoven is an approx. 740 ha of natural forest, which winds along the east coast of the island of Als.
Here there are more than 80 registered past memories, a large part of which are circular nozzles and long nozzles from the Farmer age, approx. 3500 FK
It abounds with wildlife, from the very small insects to the country's three largest deer species: deer, fallow deer and red deer.
You can also find bowl stones (from the Bronze Age) and tomb tombs (from the Iron Age) etc. Three long dolmens can be found near Havrekobbelhus next to Nørreskovvej.
On the way in through the forest, you pass the Green Bridge (max. Width 2,3 m) which is built of boulders - one of which has one distinct bowl sign (round recesses).
There are 2 marked hiking routes, both of approx. 2 km - The beach route with a blue marking and the Culture Route with a red marking.
If you hike the Alsstien from Hardeshøj to Drejet you will experience the forest to its full length.
