The hotel's cozy restaurant Bitten overlooks the surrounding green areas. The kitchen focuses on dishes inspired by French and new Nordic cuisine. The theater hall was modeled after the Royal Theater's New Scene at the request of the hotel's builder Mads Clausen and has for many years formed the framework for revues and concerts. The walls of the hotel are decorated with paintings by a local artist, which has been inspired by the hotel's history.

The Universe Adventure Park is 4 km from the hotel and offers lots of educational experiences and is not least a delight for flower and garden enthusiasts. Nordborg lake is within walking distance of the hotel and if you want a nice walk the walk around the lake path is 7,5 km long.
With a visit to Als, you will not miss the historical attraction and national symbol Dybbøl Mill. At the History Center Dybbøl Banke, the story of the fighting during the Schleswig wars is disseminated. Sønderborg Castle was built all the way back to the first half of the 1100s, and it was, among other things, behind these walls that Christian D. II lived 17 years of his life under arrest.
