"Tilia Alsie" is a full-scale copy of the Hjortspringbåden, the Nordic region's oldest plank-built boat, excavated by the National Museum 1921-22 on Als.
The original boat was sacrificed to the gods in the year 350 BC.

The boat is 18 meters long and 2 meters wide. It weighs 550 kg. Built in linden wood and sewn together of linden bast. Crew 22 "warriors".
