Located on beautiful Nordals with a short distance to nature
The hotel has meeting and conference facilities from 2 to up to 450 people. We can e.g. offer a unique theater hall which is ideal for exhibitions and smaller fairs.
For short breaks, there are green areas around the hotel and places with tables and benches at the entrance. Nordborg Lake is within walking distance of the hotel, and if you have time for a brisk walk, the tour around the lake path is 7,5 km long.
The history of the hotel
The hotel was built in 1966 by Mads Clausen, founder of Danfoss. But the hotel was the darling of his wife Bitten. She was culturally committed, which the hotel is characterized by. Her love of culture and theater led, among other things, to the construction of our theater hall, with help from the Royal Danish Theater. The theater hall was intended to attract culture, art and theater to the hotel and has an 11-meter deep stage and orchestra pit recessed under a sliding floor. Today, the hall is used for parties, lectures and courses.
