Nørherredhus for anglers

Nørherredhus Hotel & Konferencecenter offers you an exciting angler deal. The waters around the northern part of Als are obvious for inshore fishing!

Nørherredhus is a lovely hotel in Nordborg, close to Danfoss a/s and Universe. At the hotel you have the possibilities to get your waders dried and a possible catch cleaned and frozen. In the evening we indulge you with a top class menu.

Day 1

Chek-in at the hotel; in the evening we offer you a 2-course menu. Accomodation in lovely double rooms.

Day 2

A solid breakfast buffet is consumed at the hotel. The hotel makes a lunch packet and supplies you with a pot of koffee for the day. After this we suggest that you try the fishing waters east and west of the hotel. Fladbæk Beach: A very beautiful beach at the east coast of Als. Conditions at the bottom are seaweed and medium sized stones. There are also areas with sandy ground, but these are a little further out. Sea trout can be caught year round and cod can be caught as well.

Havnbjerg Beach: A place with a very exciting bottom. It starts by getting pretty deep, but if you find the right way, you can walk far out into the sea. It is a bathtub and there have been caught a lot of sea trout in this bathtub. The bottom consists of a mixture of seaweed and the finest sand. However, there are a few big stones. Angling can be done in all kinds of weather.

Stevning Næs: A classic on Als with very deep water. It is not possible to wade-fish here, but with its big rocks and lots of bladder wrack and mussels it is a very popular place. Angling is best in weak to fresh west wind.

When you return to the hotel, your clothes can be dried and your catch of the day can be frozen. Before dinner we serve you a whisky at the bar, after which you can enjoy a lovely 2-course menu. Accomodation in double rooms.

Day 3

Wonderful breakfast buffet at the hotel and check-out some time before noon. We reccomend freshwater angling in Nordborg Lake which is close to Hotel Nørherredhus. You can conclude your stay at Hotel Nørherredhus with a trip across the border to Germany, which is only about 50 km away from the hotel.
